He is starting at $3500 and I think he's looking for $4k.

Cheers

Quite probably asking too much.

The way our licensing laws work, 250's cost way too much. And then people upgrade to 600s or bigger when they get their full.

So there's not a huge market for the 400s unless you count racing.

But its a nice bike. If you like it, and can afford it, and want to spend that money on it, go for it.

If it was a 250, we'd be calling it a bargain.

Due to japans licensing rules the 400's are highly sort after like the 250's are here. Great bikes.

Looks alright, don't go over 4k thou. I've had a couple of 400's - they bloody good fun, size of a 250 but a little (tiny) bit more power.

250 worth way less than 400 in Japan market, dunt let the dealers full you.dealers here earns a lot of money on the 250s.If u got a full,400 is a good choice. In China, the 250s are about half price of the 400s.

You are sort of right, But this IS NZ, and the little things like supply & demand must be factored in

So would it be cheaper to import a 400 from over there than try get one here?

Try to find a mint condition one in Japan and order a replica fairings in China. The TYGA fairings are so expensive and they r without paiting.

It's a bargain. Couldn't buy as new one for that. See that dick in the questions who offered $2500 what a tosser! he should get real.

What's the fun in already painted stock fairings?

And I agree with XTC, I think it's a pretty good deal. Very tidy looking bike, could do a lot worse

That's awesome. I'll have to see about that when I can afford it. Do they have replica fairings like that for NSRs as well?

Yeah, they didn't really make those bikes to suit as tall folk though. Even my little brother found the CBR to be too small for him
