Well I got home from the Wairarapa yesterday, bikes on the trailer in pissing rain. Thought OK leave it until tomorrow and I'll unload and clean them. Get up this morning and so far after the nice hot days we had over there its too friggin cold so I'm tapping away on the 'puter. I aint washing the bikes until the temp picks up quite a few degrees. It gave me time to post a few pics on the Capital Coast link at least.

Why i'm on KB? I'm a slackarse who's not doing any f*ckin' work! I don't hate my job it's just past it's use by date. And I'm never going to be anything (here) more than I've been typecast to be..... O f*cken woe is me!!
Got an appointment with a career planner next week - new opportunities are just over the horizon.

Well, I'm on here cos I just solved this morning's crisis at werk, and I can't move on to this afternoon's crisis cos my cell phone is still is use syncing data for the morning crisis. So , dedicated soul that I am , I use my time usefully checking on the response time of our Internet connection - just in case anything's gone wrong with it. I like to be proactive about thse things.
it looks fine .

You live in Newlands and you say there's no roads in Welly that need repairing?
Since when was Helston Road no longer part of the Welly region?

I'm at KB right now as part of my work strategy:
Work hard and concentrate ... surf and unwind for a few minutes before the next job... work hard and concentrate ... surf and unwind for a few minutes before the next job...etc. True! It beats getting up and looking out the window (Lichfield St ... light industrial area ...no pedestrians to perve at)

Yeah, looks nice down there. I see they're putting in a pub of some description under the Mexican restaurant too. Seems to look 'Olde English'.

Was wondering if I was going to get a bite !!
I rode on it the other day in the heat and, man, it is slippery.
That is still my pet project for getting improved. I bring it up at each Surfacing meeting 'til they they get sick of me talking about it.

Perhaps you could bring along a few "consultants" to talk about it at the next meeting. <_<

You can leave your bikes on the trailer overnight?? Sounds like a good neighbourhood.
I'm here because everytime I go to enter a WoF into the system I'll either check out KB or TradeMe,sit on the phone ordering parts I'll have a little nosey.
Just serviced a Charade, better go wash the engine bay,got the JR50 to put back together after I pulled apart the carb just to clean the muffler baffles, and a bit more to do on the Lifan Chop I'm servicing.Trying to keep my mechanic on the Jag marathon as much as possible.

The trailer is in the garage of course, not outside. I don't trust anyone too much around here.
Went and had a lazy lunch down the town with Mrs merv and just got back. It is warmer, maybe I'm just too relaxed at the moment because I thought I'd leave the cleaning until tomorrow and bugger me I'm back on the 'puter again. You'd think I was sitting at work doing it, not at home, eh!

Unfortunately, motorcyclists don't feature high at the Council as far as road needs go. Cars apparently don't have an issue with Helston Road.
But I'll get there.

Same old story, I guess.
Maybe two or three motorcyclists they can ignore.
Although a couple of hundred outside the council chambers may be a bit more difficult to ignore.
Pity my aunt's no longer a councillor. I could have had words.
And dammit, our local MP's no longer the Minister of Transport. But he wasn't much chop while he did the job anyway.
