I talk to myself too-and sing, loudly of course! I have an awful voice and am not allowed to sing around home on pain of death, so sing in my helmet and the world is blissfully unaware and I'm happy.

I often tell myself to calm the fug down, or to correct some aspect of my riding that I am unhappy with.

I've been known to sing in my helmet (bad voice as well), and talk to myself as well. Isn't that normal? :weird:

Have been known to curse inside my helmet. My problem is I try to say it loud enough so the jerk in the cage can not only hear me through my helmet, but through his windows aswell. Maybe opening the visor and *ahem* 'opening' his window might work better.

I always thought so and I am very normal for a person like me!

Nothing wrong with talking to yourself, just be careful you don't get into an argument. However if the unthinkable happens just make sure you don't lose that argument. :stupid:

Funny that, eh? Must be because helmets have special acoustics....

 won't it be a great idea to mount a mega phone facing the cage driver that you want to swear at?

Yeah an issue we all face I am sure and the worst of it was that crazy frog and Axel F, something about it just made it sound so good at 100K (well plus a little) , think it was going through my head slightly before the thought "this is going to hurt". :slap:

I only curse road morons out loud, but when we had the Ultra with a VOX intercom I kept forgetting and wifey would get an earfull too. She thought I was triggering the intercom deliberately. Now I ask you, would I do that?

Yes. Yes you would. :devil2:

I chat away to myself depending on my mood. Sometimes I'm not much of a conversation! But yeah if I happen upon some fool occupying the wrong piece of road at the wrong time, or the right piece of road doing something extremely annoying anyway, I'll usually be swearing away (or laughing) inside my dome. Great stress relief sometimes. But then, sometimes it says more (to them) just shaking your head and wagging a finger... :motu:

Gave up shower singing.
Talk to myself while riding, helps pass the time. Only problem no one answers.

Nothing wrong with talking to yourself. It's when you answer yourself that it's a problem.

You're just jealous 'cause the voices only talk to me

MP3 players can be of some amusment. There even funnier when your watching one of your mates head bang down the motorway listening to "system of a down",:headbang: :Punk: slamming his helmet up and down :Punk: :headbang: . - everyone thinking WTF?

One thing I have learned is that in some circumstances, one isn't the only person privy to oaths or utterances made in the confines of one's helmet. One may be embarrassed by this, so one should learn to become more self-aware and to pick one's moment...

when that helmet goes on, i just wont shutup. instead of just thinking inside my head (like a normal person), i have long conversations to myself about stupid things, (eg, look at the blonde in that car!, shit theres a pot hole, etc...)

sad thing is if got a clear visior so when i start talking (especially around town, i get very wierd looks form the public....
