At least it only costs you £1.50 to buy a ticket, for odds longer than every penny in the world laid end on end (40 times around the globe?). Kiwi Lotto's odds aren't nearly as bad, but still bad enough for me not to bother.

Anyone ever been to a major sporting event at Eden Park, the Cake Tin, or Jade Stadium? Picture yourself there. It's jam-packed, and it's half time. One man, in the middle of the ground with a tennis raquet and a tennis ball. He's gonna belt that one ball out into the crowd, the catcher gets $1,000,000 for their effort. Picturing yourself there, you'd think there'd be no chance of it being you. Not a hope. Well, that's just the tip of the iceburg. Now imagine that same scenario, but 30 stadiums, still one man, still one tennis ball. The odds of it even being in your statium are worth paying attention to. But that's roughly what the odds of winning Lotto are. In little old New Zealand. I'd rather save my money than hope against that kind of chance.

Sorry about the rant... :brick:

You gotta be in to win. I tend to just buy the minimum 4 lines if I need to break up a $20 or somethin', I'm about $50 up so far.

Witht that sort of dough, I could afford Suzuki OEM parts for my DR250, I may still have to borrow a couple of quid though.
