Ridden to Stewart Island from WHERE????

I wouldn't worry about going onto the island for a ride - a tank of fuel would give you a weeks riding over every road three times- there is not a whole lot of road on the island.!!!!

I just went over on the catamaran a fews years ago and walked around over there. Only got the shuttle bus to drop us back to the motel when we had late nights out. I think all up there are something like 14km of roads over there - a scooter maybe, any bike larger it would be frustrating I would say, though I know people do take their bikes over there.

Once when there I saw a V-Max parked up at the wharf area with the keys still in it - I guess no worries about bike theft THERE eh?

Use your imagination SD.
He obviously can't go across the strait.
He'll just have to ride around the other way.

Yes I have ridden on Stewart island, it is boring the roads are short and all seem to be dead ends, bit of gravel to
