View Full Version : Teenagers getting desperate

I'm not condoning her actions, but I find it VERY hard to believe that a normal teenage boy came on to the woman in the centre of the "sex with a 13 year-old boy" story!
She has told her story in the Sunday Star Times today and there is a photo: http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3548214a10,00.html I leave it up to you to comment!
She reckons he came on to her when SHE was drunk - hell, I reckon that kid must be blind because when I was a teenager, no self-respecting teenage boy would be seen dead with a fat chick, let alone an older, married, fat chick with a kid!

I don't know of any 13 year old boys who could pass for 17 either-she must have been "blind" drunk, and that only excuses the first occasion- what about the second time? Sick cow...

Too many people think it's ok to get drunk and then blame that for there behaviour.
BTW, a fat chick like that must have drunk a lot of booze to get pissed. And the boy must have drunk a lot to make her attractive.

That report is very much her side of the story. Except where the Police point out that they disagree...
"the first woman sentenced under new laws which mean men and women are treated equally as sex offenders"
It would seem we still have some way to go to attain equality.
I don't see much chance of a guy (23) getting community service for having sex with a girl who had turned 13 only days previously.

Is the law was changed to make it no different for males or females who have encounters with minors. However the penalty handed down was a mere wet bus ticket. Our justice system often has me confused on how they reach different sentancings. Another thing that appears relevant is that she is milking this for all its worth. Reciently put up in a hotel by the media, so that she would not talk to the competition? Now she is all over the major papers. Whats next? Womens magazines? Kinda glorifies something that really should not be being treated like this and she should definitely IMO be put in jail.

I dunno, there was a 16y/o boy hitting on me last night while drunk out of his skull.
He only just turned 16 too, he's been hitting on me for over a year now
I wouldn't be surprised if this 13 y/o hit on ladies...
But... He might have tried to find a better choice :slap:

I agree, if this was a 23 year-old guy who had been caught having sex with a 13 year-old girl, he'd be an outcast and sent to jail. The old "men can't be raped by a woman" idea - not that this was rape though. Can you imagine the outcry if a man got community service in this instance? Double standards in my opinion. If women can be charged the same as men, then the penalties should be the same too - and there is NO way a guy would have escaped a jail sentence.
Did she ever ASK how old he was? Nope, bet she was desperate for a shag after her and her husband split and she didn't give a stuff. What was she doing entertaining a houseload of young boys in the first place?
I feel really sorry for the boy - and not just because his so-called innocence (doesn't sound like he was) has been stolen. I bet all his mates know who he is and do you think he's EVER going to live down screwing HER? I'm not exactly Elle McPherson myself, but I could at least understand why he'd want to have sex with her if she was slim and attractive, this leaves me dumbfounded!
No wonder us journalists get bad press - if the women's magazines have paid her for her story, then this is a great reminder to me of why I don't buy them.

Not fair that she got off lighter than a bloke would have.
But I have no sympathy for the boy. He went to her place looking for shelter, she obliged. He obviously felt the urge for sex, she obliged. He told the Police he was not upset, disturbed or bothered by having sex with her and he went back for seconds. Can't say he meets the definition of a victim myself.
Maybe HE was as ugly as and was grateful to finally find someone drunk enough to put out?
Seems the Taranaki Police have lost the plot after reading yesterday's Dom about charging that neighbour for using an axe to drive off two armed men attacking the women next door. Then they let the attackers off with diversion because they wrote a letter of apology. Beggars belief in common sense and justice and will certainly discourage any good samaritan from helping others in need. Maybe they have new orders to go hard on soft crimes with lesser victim impacts and turn a blind eye to offenders inflicting real cruel and hard suffering. Must be a tax break for them or something to ignore cases where the crim deserves jail time.

I've known plenty of guys that wouldn't hesitate with her.
And having spent several years living in a male only environment at THAT age,I can assure you she would of had no end of VERY keen 13 year olds.
Matter of fact they would of been lining up down the hall.

That's very sad to hear, Jackrat. I'd get counselling for an admission like that...:killingme
I reckon most guys (even the ugly ones!) would be thinking along the lines of "not even with a borrowed dick".

Point 1: While reading this article I found I had the deafening noise of Duelling Banjoes playing in my head. I often joke with people that I come from Eltham (in Taranaki, coincidentally) where there are guys who are their own fathers. Maybe truth is stranger than fiction.
Point 2: It's hard to come up with a politically correct version of this, but I am constantly amazed at what trash losers do to fill in their days. I guess drinking piss, smoking dac, eating chippies, getting tattoos and rooting fills in the hours between dole payments.
Point 3: I feel sorry for Ms Dravitsky's two-year-old child. What a role model to have as a mother. Somehow trying to rationalise her actions here ("Like I thought he was like way older. I was like so way totally pissed. I wasn't his first.") just makes the whole sordid mess sadder/funnier.

Regardless of ugly or not, the boy was/is 14. And yes he is a child. If his parents hadn't come in when they did, who would have had to pay child support if she'd had another child? Adults know better, at least they're supposed to, children don't.
I don't believe for one second that "she thought he was 18". How long had she known him? Long enough to drop her pants and offer him a chance to sit on her knee - obviously but long enough to find out his name or age probably not.

Hey lady, at THAT age the idea of sex (with someone other than yourself) is VERY appealing to most males.
It wasn't like he was dating her, probably didn't want to be seen with her.
You obviously had a FAR higher standard than I did as a young teenager!:devil2:

Nothing wrong with the fact that someone would want to sleep with a woman like her. Don't see anything desperate behind it myself. People come in all shapes, and sizes. What may be unattractive to one could be found attractive to another. A 13 year old boy how ever.. Now THAT is wrong. :argh:

If you go to Whangarei, and yes this has been in the paper. What you will notice is that that at 3am in the morning there are young girls and boys around the ages of 6 and upward wandering the streets. How is it possible for a parent to know where their children are at all times? You can't check up on them every hour on the hour

I think the story was although he'd "run away" (his words) his parents (mother) turned up and caught them at it hence the charges.

There was, however, this Taranaki dude who went to a wife swapping party and left with a farm bike in reasonable running order.

Apart from the fact that his mother knew where he was, I guess he might have been a "runaway".
