OMG, 2004 R1 goodness :Punk: :Punk: Worth it just for that.
I got 33/40 got some of the stupid questions wrong. Like how close are you supposed to park next to a corner?? Never knew that one. What about the stupid one, how much more likely are you to have an accident if you are drunk and drive under the limit or something like that. WHO THE FUCK CARES.

I didn't take score but I would of come in around 95%.
I was quite shocked at how bad some people did.
There were of course some answers that I would still argue the point on.

I'm not surprised that the average was 40%, you just have to see the standard of driving in Auckland. What's worse, is that it was purely academic. Practical skills weren't tested. They couldn't help throwing in some of the famous, rigorously scientific, LTSA 'statistics' though.
It does show that cagers aren't out to kill us though. They don't have sufficient skills to intend to hit us.

I take it the test is only at VTNZ?
I don't go near them any more. Total pack of failures, can't tell the difference between a lower ball joint and a steering rack (amongst other horror stories I have of them), so their knowledge level on bikes is likely to be dangerously low. I get my W's.o.F. from real mechanics - If something is seriously amiss with my bike, I figure it would be best to know about it. There's more to road safety than being successful in a quiz...
