Did anyone tape/DVD the Wanganui Streets racing footage screened TV1 Sun 22nd Jan?

Hi,
As it says; just looking for a copy of the footage of the Wanganui round of the Battle of the Streets, held 26th December 2005. As I understand, it screened as part of Shell Helix Motorsport on TV 1, Sunday 22nd January 2006.
Would be grateful for a look.

I captured it on the computer, have to edit the ads out and want to try and tidy a few bits of noise, but should be able to burn it to dvd tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Ok, edited out the adds and some of the interference, not sure why that was there, but the tv capture card is doing it even worse now. Plus it looks like my monitor settings were screwy (have always been, just I didn't realise till now) so that I ended up recording it too bright. The video has been changed to a more normal brightness level, but I think due to how it was recorded it's a little bit washed out in places. Not too bad though.

Anyway, below is a torrent file if you're into bittorrent. I haven't created a torrent before, just downloaded them so hopefully it'll work. The speed and connection may vary a bit as I've only got 128kbps upstream and have to share the connection with my brother. Please seed as long as you can after your download has finished.

The .avi is 480x306 pixels, encoded with XviD with mono mp3 audio. It's 1:31 (hr:min) long and 392MB.

Will get to work on the dvd now. Anyone wants a copy posted (or to pick one up) pm me. All I need is $2 to cover the cost of the blank dvd and postage.

I've got some onboard action from the side cars if anyone is keen!

My boss has a helmet cam that he lent to local hero Gordon Skilton (10x NZ Sidecar Champ). Camera was on the swinger's helmet (another local mad bastard!) but the footage is around 6GB for 28mins uncompressed. If anyone wants a copy, I'll have a fiddle with compressing it into XviD then I can send them out for the copy of a CD + Postage.

If you're using Azureus...just go:
Open > Torrent File (for seeding only)
It should open the folder it saves your torrents to, select the movie torrent, then it'll open a folder where the movie is saved, select it and away you go.

Welcome to the site...there's a torrent file that you could download on the first page of this thread. you'll need a torrent client to download the actual movie though. It's about 300ish Mbs.
