got a letter yesterday

from the perlice / land transport safety nazis

demanding money

got pinged by a camera for 65 in a 50 = $80

checked where and when

christmas day at 11:30 on the way to dinner with the family

At one of those places where the posted speed limit is much lower than the road's design speed

And a place where, under the conditions at the time, that speed is not unsafe

This is revenue collection - not traffic safety

it is just raises the agro level.

And it is not winning the government, bureaucrazy, law enforcement or police any friends

and I can not see any way of stopping them :(

Bummer dude. You're right, they put the cameras in those places for that reason. Sort of entrapment.

This Government doesn't need friends, they need voters and they certainly know how to buy them.
