mobile trees!!
seen some bloody big branches go past the office window. Just watch for debris on the road, and I wouldn't recommend the bridge to newbies right now!!

We haven't had a good gust for a while, so anything not bolted down, or dying, is gonna go flying

time for a singalong then.

I met her in a club down in old SOHO
Where you drink Champagne and it tastes just like Cherry Cola
C-O-L-A cola...
She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said "Lola"
L-O-L-A Lola....

Sounds like you're one of them restaurant kitchen doors Buggy - y'know... the ones that swing both ways?

Bit wasted if your having probs with the old fella, tho isnt it? I guess you dont have to have it "up" for a bj, but it'd take away a lot of the point, wouldn't it?

Now if the rest of the country could get this weather as well, it might slow down some of the moaning bloody farmers...:eek5:
"It's been sunny for a week - this is a drought - give me government compensation!!":bash:
"It's been raining for a couple of days - this is a flood! give me compensation":bash:

At least it will stop those fires up north.

You need some GAITERS! Only $12.50 , from your friendly Army Surplus place in K Road, opposite the billboard of the topless chick with the huge tits. Y'can't miss them.

Boots that don't leak? One of those things like an honest politician, possible in theory but unknown in practice. Settle for gaiters.

Good pair of leather boots shouldnt leak, my John Bulls can handle standing in a river and then only leak when they are completly submerged, must be all the polish that has been put on them over the years, but alas the soles are failing on them and they cannot be resoled apparently

I went out in this weather today..... in the car...
and saw one brave soul riding his bike up Waikamete Hill (west Auckland)
I guess he doesn't own a car.

As I had to return home from Glen Eden, heading down some slippery roads covered in rubbish... I thought that I would aqua plane along the road.. twas not fun... Kept a close eye out on overhanging trees etc.. nothing like them breaking at the wrong moment in the high winds.

I have to venture out in it again later on for a couple of hours...
Cars being blown all over the show... and trucks swaying.. floods and rubbish everywhere.

I guess the news tonight maybe showing some damage done today..

As I was typing this my big blue wheelie recycle bin just blew over... Bottles went everywhere...
