You heard right. Im probably not going to be able to race the 748 again.
If you were at the Ruapuna Nationals, you'll know why.

Lets just say...
CRASH!!! Pretty much everything is broken! Even the frame.:spudgrr:

Looks like ill be a spectator at the Paeroa street races. As much as i REALLY REALLY want to race, I just dont think ill have a bike in time.
Ill try to get some pics up as soon as i take some.

IM SO GUTTED!
But we seem to have a few plans up our sleeves, so will see how we go.

.

Didn't see the crash but saw the bike afterwards as they were opposite us in the pits and it wasn't looking to flash

Scrounge something up or knock one off the showroom floor

Yeah saw the crash happen from the spectator bank, saw a big puff of smoke. Apparantly jay touched karl morgan (i think it was him) and then tucked the front end going into the infeild sweeper. Bike must have cart-wheeled, dang.

you must have VERY understanding sponsors!

want to use the turbo?
i need a new fairing..and WHEN you crash it, your sponsor can fix/replace it for me:Punk:
but then again i'm sure mud boy's bike might be a better bet ( he cannot use it for 5 weeks....) DT175... no? why, tooo big? we could paint it yellow for ya.. it's been crash tested... and lived

That was a pretty spectacular off for sure... glad Jay was alright.

Up till then the 748 was the only decent sounding machine out there!

Must be something to see ya bike upside down 6 feet off the ground.

Should have said.. It wasnt me racing the bike. It was young Jay Lawrence (sp). Hes ok, a bit sore from what ive heard, but ok.
Hes gonna be coming into work tommorrow to strip it down, so we can get started on it. The engine seems to have taken in a bit of Gravel, so we are going to have to strip the whole motor down. And clean it all out.
Got it at work today, had a good look over the whole thing. Doesnt look as bad as we first thought, so heres hoping!

From what I know, Karl Morgan brake checked Jay on the corner. Jay tried to go round the outside, but thinks his brake lever hit Karls bike and he lost the front. Slid into the gravel and the bike flipped.

Hey.. Thats racing, Shit happens. Nothing you can do about it, so we will move onwards and upwards from here.

Faaaarrrrkkk..... i just finished reading up about the GP5. Jah-ueeees-zoos. I don't think i could actually get a lap done on that thing without canning it. 1:1 power-weight. 334km/h???? On an FI map set to conserve fuel!!!!

Didn't know Ducati had it in them... shame on me.

Unfortunately also goes to show the quickest bike isn't the same as the easiest bike to ride hard...

Yes, that is indeed it. I saw it on sportzfotoz last night, it was only posted there yesterday.

All I saw at the time was a cloud of dust, close up it looks horrible. Luckily Jay walked away with no damage to speak of.
