Which is quite a rarity for me but...

It seems that due to an increased number of unfortunate incidents, there are a lot of new rider training rides...

Now i'm not the most experienced or best rider but I am willing to help where i can...

But here comes the thought bit... Where are the "instructor rides" For us somewhat more experienced riders. I'm not the slowest guy on the paddock but I still ride like shit comparitivley speaking so i was wondering where the QUIDS instruction ride was taking place....

Don't know if this is in the right catagory so admin move it if you feel it necessary.

I'd just like to get smoother take better lines and become an all round better rider. I ride quite a bit (almost logged up 10000km in a little under 5 months) So i do ride heaps (when i can afford it) so it's just a matter of honing skill..

I was just wondering ....... which is usually a dangerous passtime..:violin:

I think the more experianced riders realise they are still learners...my learning curve is still as steep as it was when I was 16.

Hey aff-man,

You should just come along on a few group rides and see how you rank yourself amongst others in terms of general riding abilty, safety, confidence etc and work from that to find what you want to improve on. It is quite good following a very experienced confident rider through a section of road that you may class as difficult to ride safely at speed. You can learn a lot from just watching.

I am always keen to get out and ride whereever mate, give me a PM if you wanna head out sometime.

Yeh i don't go riding by myself as a safety factor more than anything else. I like to keep the groups smaller now though..
Will do.

you're not alone mate. I'm always looking for pointers. Thing is, most of the quicker riders than me, just don't hang around long enough ;)

I toll ya already, go see John Wright, he'll teach ya to ride.

Seriously tho, if there isn't something, organise it. That's what Weasel and I did. The only problem tho, if you like small rides, most organised rides get big.

Otherwise, find a mate you consider to be better, and ask them to slow down a bit, and that you want to learn from them.

If I wanted pointers about riding slow in the middle of the road, I'd ask, ok?
