Well after reading what a great ride you guys had down the lakes I've got the itch. Next weekends gonna be the first chance I get to give the new ride the thrashing it's been waiting for.

So weather permitting, I'm up for rides both days. And up for suggestions on where to go, Coro loop, lakes, Pyes pa/Okoroire, even thru the gorge to gissy then back up round the east coast if you're up for it.... wherever, as long as there's twisties.

So who's in? and where you wanna go?

Will see how much of the check I have left after paying buggy for the calendars and getting a few other things. Doin the gorge to Gisborne might be a bit out of my price range though, regardless of what's left.

Well the Coro loop was great today, but if you missed out don't despair.... there's another chance for you.

Tomorrow morning meet at the Macca's carpark in Greerton at 1000. The missus and I are gonna ride down pyes pa road to okoroire for lunch. All are welcome!

Will be sleeping until it gets too hot.

Any interest in day time rides Mid week once school goes back (for those of us who don't work normal hours)? Usually go by myself, of with my better looking half on the back.

I am up for that, in hospitality so days are good for me. One possible problem, I am still only learning and may be a bit slow:scooter: .... but I will be keen. :)

Will be on the ride tomorrow,... slowly.

Cheers to Glen and Darrell for providing some excellent company on a fun, short (but quick) cruise.:niceone:

Glen, Hope you got home safe, Darrell showed up at Okoroire, seems there's too many McDonalds in Tauranga!!

Wayne, shame you couldn't make it mate, beer was tasting very good today:drinkup:

Now I'm off to remove feathers from my intake grill after I nailed that damn bird. (Darrell, I forgot to ask how that looked. it's made a bloody mess, even chipped the paint:angry2: )

Till next time,
Mark

Yeah mate good day, that poor bird didn't stand a chance I actually rode through the cloud of feathers, lucky it hit the bike and not you.

Highlight of the day was seeing those two old buggers cruze up to Okoroire on their scooters, the smile on their dials when they took their helmets off said it all.

Will catch up,
Cheers Darrell
