View Full Version : Girly on blue Hayabusa?

I was sitting on the ledge of my third floor window looking out at this piece of crap day in Auckland when a very sexy blue Hayabusa pulls down Whitaker Place, looks for a park and does a U-turn by my little GSX-R 250 and disappears around the corner.

I could tell it was a female rider, just wondering who that was, if it's any of you?

As if that wasn't cool enough, I walk up the road to go to work and it's parked beside the garage I got mugged in, so I got a good perve.

What is a Hayabusa doing in Whitaker Place?
I work there....I know it's a rat hole (road condition, traffic mode, etc)

I'm even scared enough riding my SP1 or driving my car down there. And, man, around the Fine Arts building area is a hellhole.......

I thought it might have been Qkchk but I checked her profile and her 'busa looks like it's black, and this one was definitely blue. *shrug*

A 'Busa? that's a big bike for a girl! perhaps she would be more comfortable on something slightly smaller? A Nifty Fifty maybe?:Pokey: hahaha!

26th January 2006, 15:24
Nope it wasn't me :) My bike is Purple and Black and I have a black Nitro helmet now.....

If it is a blue 'busa it could be brand new.... I had a look in Haldanes yesterday and they have the '06 models in. One was reddy/crimson the other a dark blue. Some of the earlier models had blue in them but only as the secondary colour...

Didn't think any other woman would have the balls and/or the strength to ride one..........not that I have balls

I actually reckon that being less strong (like, on average, a female) can be an advantage on a bike...it forces one to ride the thing properly, and not muscle it around while sitting upright, shitting oneself with your arms locked up and tense on the bars. I see no reason why chicks can't do it and do it good...but I'll still cry if one beats me one day :p

but you still need srength the stronger your legs and shoulders the better off road

Gee I reckon! Went on a trail ride last year and it nearly killed me! Only made it half way round the 35km trail and my borrowed bike crapped out from falling over all the time. Was bloody good fun tho. If I ever get another chance to do it again I will try to strengthen my arms, and maybe start on the novice trail:eek5:

No shame goblin some of the trail rides ARE imposible for all but the imortals of the sport.....

True, off road is probably different, but most street bikes reward a sensitive, relaxed touch, I reckonz...

Yeah it rained solid all day! The trail was tight, windy, deep ruts on every hill, tree roots were slippery as, one hill had even the experts all lined up at the bottom, taking it one at a time. Thats where my bike died so I got doubled back to base and the sweepers towed the bike back. Would definitly do it again tho.
