For those in the know about such things, I'd like to know where best (in Wellington) to go to get a moulded 4-pin DIN plug repaired/replaced. One of our bike-to-bike intercoms has got a stuffed female connector on the push-to-talk bit that goes on the handlebars. As this is a sealed plug unit, and my arms aren't long enough to see what's going on, I need the assistance of a competent professional to execute a satisfactory repair.
Thoughts??

Hi Hitcher,
Is it a mini-din, like a mouse connector, but with 4 pins, not 6? 8mm diameter
Or is it the larger DIN, like some old stereo/tape decks used (old AT keyboards too) 15mm dia
I can sort you out with a mini-din.
If its the larger size, if you source the socket, I can repair.

Yes, it is definitely the mini 8mm variety. Your offer is most welcome! Please send me a PM with your contact details.

You'll be wanting something like the fella on the right?
Can you confirm the spacing of the pins?
