i'm thinking about getting a new can for the bros as the current moriwaki can is fucked...:weep: so who makes a decent sounding can for less than $500? i'd really like one with removable baffles and the deepest sound possible but i'm not overly worried if its rather cheap:msn-wink:

TonyB is looking at setting something up. Try Neptune muffelers as well. Not too sure on what you are going to get for $500 though.

They made the 'mufflers' for my VF500, and although they were stainless, they were much lighter than the originals, looked better, and sounded very good too. They were also cheaper than the cheapest replacement ones I could find.

yeah they're much better than stock items, price/performance wise. my can is a SS2 Zorsts it weighs in at 3.5kg which isn't to bad suppose.
when it was saxon st exhausts they made up a Harris S3 race pipe for my Laverda ( that was a noisey bastard ! )

Does it have to be a can? Manawatu M/C s have a nice shorty conical "muffler" for around $100. Should suit the style of the Bros to a T.

Probably a bit louder than the Dunstall replicas on the cb550 or a mates 500 Pantah. You're welcome. Hope it works out. They have one on display on the back wall. Saw it there yesterday arvo when I had a look through the window.
I should add, I'm going to get one of these for the GB400 when the original one finally rusts out completely. Hence my awareness of their availability.
