Monday 30th day of fun in the sun wakeboarding and water ski-ing

Monday the 30th of Jan day of fun in the sun Wakeboarding, Water ski-ing, and knee boarding.

Well the olds have a boat that is grate for a bit of fun out at the lake.
so providing the weather is good I want to take the boat out but need some others to come out with me.

Going to leave from my place 75 lewis street glenview Hamilton at about 10:30-11am.

Heading out to Brooklyn Ski Club @ Lake Karapiro if you head out to the main Karapiro Domain keep heading past that and about 3 or 4 mins down the road. There is a gate with a sign above it saying brooklyn water ski club.

there is a bbq there and changing rooms

if you want to join me let me know. Will cost $10 for gas for the boat if you want to try wakeboarding and water ski-ing and bring food for the bbq.

Grate place to take the young ones too if you have any.

Hi mate thanks for the offer, we are supposed to be skiing on the Waikato river Ngruawhahia on Monday but if that fails I will come out, what size engine ya got, takes a big one to pull my teqnic challenged arse out of the water !

125 hp merc but its had the prop changed so it pulls alright for a 125

I might be able to help ya to i was over in the states teaching wakeboarding and water skiing to kids at summer camp for 3 months

its a way nicer spot that the river too
changing rooms showers bbq there is a fridge out there too and kitchen

no it's at the dam end of the lake, cross over the dam thru karapiro village after the south bound passing lanes off sh1 6kms south of cambridge, then turn left onto maungatautari rd, then about 4k on your left the brooklyn sign - the chain should just be wrapped around the gate so open it (close behind you) and come in. maungatautari rd south of the ski club is AWESOME biking country......(my back yard - i live 300m from it :) )

yes, yes it is. In fact you will probably see a YZF 750 SP scream past your place a couple of times each weekend. I love that road. Usually shoot down to Arapuni and back again via Peacocks Rd if I feel the urge to take my baby out. At this rate I'll be able to document braking points and gears for the entire route soon :whistle:
