Hi all, just thought I would put this out on the forum to see if anyone has a bike for sale?
I am looking for a sports tourer, not too high K's (want to commute on it), in good condition and has sensible seat for a pillion.
Must be in the Wellington area.
I have looked around and come up with a list or possibles but not found many for sale, looking at the $7-10K area :
ZX6R
CBR600
VFR800
XJR1300
VTR1000 - not a brilliant pillion but would consider.
Am open to other suggestions, what makes a good commuter, allows for a nice pillion ride but also can scratch??

Dont' overlook the Hornet 900 - they are $10995 new so I imagine you could get a good not too old/low K second hand one in your price range.

Frying Finn made me give up sportsbikes, thanks to his antics on his XJR1300. It's a weapon in the right hands, and that plush seat - mmm mmmm good.

And I quoted that for Jim2

Thanks guys, I have looked at the 900 Hornet and would be keen to test ride one - not seen any second hand in Welly though!
I have had my eyes open for an XJR1300 for months - I did see one on trademe, a cool looking red and white one listed in porirua, but it finished the day I saw it and I never got the number.
I will pop down to Boyles Kwak garage and have a look at the two zx's on monday, is that the standard exhaust the ZX6R Skunk??
Cheers.

It's standard on the ZX6R but not on the ZRX1100 - the standard can goes with the bike though. The 1100 also has an alarm fitted (fuse removed at the moment).
Boyles aren't great salesmen, you have to beg them to sell you a bike!
