BMW clone with watercooled 600cc, fuel inj & even ABS brakes.
Looks like they will try to copy anything.
Any comments?

I think I read somewhere that reliabilty and build were a little sus on the Chinese bike, but time will tell I guess.
The Korean's have certainly made a good name for themselves.

If you take that cheap plastic looking fairing off it's almost cruiserish, but the frame round the engine is too square for that. I think in the rake of the forks? Probably suit a fuller fairing perhaps to make it look more road/sports bike.

Here's a pic of an original F650 - a great adventure/tourer bike. (I've just sold mine). Wonder how well the chinese one will do in the longevity stakes.

Chinese bikes are getting better its just like when the first japanese bikes came out there were 100's of differen't makes all making viurtualy the same products but after a while the bikes bikes build quality increased and all the rip off brands got bought out by the now dominant japanese makes HONDA,YAMAHA,SUZUKI,KAWASAKI

Good point. Are BMW's more reliable than any other make or is that BMW owners tend to be more fastidious about the care of their bikes and repair or or replce anything when it shows the least sign of wear? Jap bikes and others last just as well if looked after. Anything will become a dog if neglected, including BMW's.
ALL car and bike manufacturers make some good vehicals and I'm sure they've all made lemons at some point. I don't understand the bullshit that goes along the lines of - Yamaha's are better than Honda's, Holdens are better than Fords, etc - yeah, whatever. They all win their share of races and so on.

Too true. I've heard that the metallurgy isn't the best in the chinese bikes. Softer, lower quality steels and so, but they'll get their shit together in time and give the japs a good run for their money.

F650 isn't a "proper" BMW anyway. It's actually a Rotax engine, and chain driven to boot.

Is that one of those chains that looks, feels, tastes, and sounds like a belt?
That's a pretty convincing rip-off

Some of the 650s are belt, some chain. None shaft, which was the point.

True.Water cooling, and OHC and the cylinders all stuck on one side, quite wrong. Does have shaft drive, but, and the proper klunken krunchen gearbox. Many "proper" BMW gurus reckon that nothing is that doesn't have an Erles fork
