A mate is fitting a CR125 motor into a CR250 frame & was wondering if there are moto or motard classes that would suite this bike?
He has both road racing & motocross experience.

CRF125? Sure it isn't a CR? A 125 4 stroke is little kiddy size

Most motard racing is open class and there's no real restrictions. Supermoto racing does have classes. If this bike is a 2 stroke it would suit S3 class, but if it's a 4 stroke it'll suit junior motard

No problem.

I'm not sure if you can do supermoto down south. I'm only aware of them racing at Taupo. Supermotard which is just on tarmac a few bucket clubs will have a open motard class. I raced in junior motard with the Wellington Bucket Club for a couple of race meets

I'm with Flash on this one. Why the hell anyone would wanna put a piddly little screamer motor into a fat and heavy 250 frame is beyond me.

What the hell is wrong with the world?
