Sorry can't help me old mate, but at risk of being flamed for high jacking your thread, anyone got a speedo gearbox for a GB ( its the magic box at the opposite end of the speedo cable to the speedo itself and resides in the middle of the front wheel ) Sorry I'll go away now:thud:

It's what is commonly known in the trade as "plucked " ( the blade shaped bit that "mates" with the slotted bit on the end of the speedo cable has snapped off so all the rotation at one end is all just running out the hole ) Getting a lot of kilometres per litre though:spudbooge

I'm sure he should b able to come up with a suitable solution to your wee problem.

While we are here... if anyone has a gb400/500 headlight or anything else that the abobe guys havnt already called for, contact ME please...

I've ordered a new set of shocks. At $150 for the pair for after market items. I thought that was very reasonable.
