Just picked up the latest AMCN with a stunner cover shot of a 675 in full lean.
Looking forward to seeing one in the flesh. They look fantastic and that weight, torque and a triple engine... its got to be good for you.
The gold or red look best. What chance have we got of getting one though. 900 of the UKs 1000 allocation for this year are pre-sold. So how few will reach our far flung shores.
Anyway, while i'm at it the mag also has a spy story on the 2007 models. 1500 twin cruiser and a lighter and hopefully cheaper 675 Speedtriple might be goers (as in good sellers)
I want back on aTriumph so one of these must be the ticket.

Looks like a 636 fucked a CBR600 if you ask me.

Wouldn't kick it outta the sack if it farted though.....

So the big question is can it beat its competition, but then again what is its rivals? the 600's, GSXR750, 636 ? It'll be an interesting group test.

It's a parallel (shit what a prick of a word, took 3 attempts at it) twin. The mag picture was their mule test bike - a stretched America with an enlarged engine to replicate the size of the final motor. Story goes it will target the market between the under sized America/Speedmasters and the Rocket to capture that Yank market they missed first time around. Final engine will use two of the rockets pistons. I hope they can keep the looks as close to the current America & Speedmaster as possible. I would have kept my America if it could have overtaken a 1970s Skoda. It just lacked a bit of pulling power, so nexts years model may hit the spot.
