Found a very good write up on the Rocket 3. Sounds like an awesome bike.

Nice work Marty.

I happen to know that TNZ has good stocks at the moment too (ever so slightly too good perhaps). They are keen to sell a few - there might be some room in the advertised prices at the mo. Ask you dealer.

Same with thruxtons.

Street & Sport (chch dealer) ex demo Rocket 3 was advertised for $28k last week.

No way is it my cup of meat, but a Thruxton......... well.

Maaaate,that's spooky that is.
As I was scrolling down I was thinking "it would make a good mooring block"
But Ferk,,it's so big how would ya' get it out there.
Bit sad though, end of an era,no more Goldwing jokes:spudbooge

They're a mighty machine to ride. The ease of it all compared to my Roadking is so astounding. It weighs about the same as my bike, but the centre of gravity is so low, it feels so lite. I would love to have one, but the problem is the wife says no.( She's got half shares)

Hey, if you can get a good deal on the rocket then go for it. Low centre of gravity, cool name, cool power, cool looks, handles like a bike half it's weight, and apparently they can make your girlfriend horny, although I don't personally know your girlfriends.

I just brought mine home, showed it to she who should be obeyed and lied about the price....It worked for me.

Rocket 3'z are mean machine's they go hard and go down harder. At 200km + it threw my buddy when he misjudged a corner and locked up the back wheel for a good 20 metres up along the desert road. came to a messy end - he broke his collar bone and a leg and had to spend a couple a weeks on pamperied sevices to recover.

At the end of the day if you don't come off your just not going hard enuff

You don't wanna crash too hard as it's $4000.00 for a tank.
