Auckland Monthly Meet/Feed/Ride Mon 6th Feb

Alright after last months little effort (30 odd KBer's) and more than a few saying to turn it into a monthly thing. So here goes:

Meet at:

Hell Kohimarama
295 Kepa Rd
Just round the corner from Selwyn College and ASB Statdium

Meet 6-6.30pm in carpark, talk some shit
7pm rock in for a feed till 8pm
8pm go for a short ride.

Some suggested after the ride that a meet place for a few drinks would've been the go, for those that are legit, i'll leave that upto you guys.
As for the ride pretty limited as to where you can go, last time we went to the "secert" spot for a bit of silly buggers, but as said it's not everyones thing, so up for suggestions.

A standard 20% discount for all you cats on whatever you buy from me store.

Hope to get even more along this time. Even had a couple bowl up from Hamilton, Momenteum and some homo on a blue R1.

Did about 7-8 runs of that last time. This time was a little shittier.. not as many stunters. I wasn't going to pull any stoppies as I just replaced the rear shock :/

It's a pity there wasn't any 250 drag racing this time, I enjoyed it last time.
I got a few pics, most of them blurry due to trying to compensate for the low light. I've got to learn how to use the flash properly.

There was a huge turnout, even though most people didn't stay long for the stunting I think it was a success.

Gotta admit, with so many people I tend to just talk to the folks I know. :o

Wish I could say the same for me on the Zeal! After taking the photos, I tried doing a few wheelies. I reckon I must've been not on the game. Or maybe it was adjusting the clutch or not revving it enough... Anyway, I ended up mostly just doing a series of small bunnyhops down the street :o
But managed to get the wheel up a bit higher a few times.
All good fun though :2thumbsup and yep, I reckon it's the best place to learn.

Next time when the bike is run in ill be willing to drag some other 250's, nearly everyone has the notion that GT250R's are sluggish!

Word. ZXR C model is +4Nm and 5-10kg less as well which is the reason why it always gains. :first:

edit: Imo CBR has best aero though, it is slightly thinner so top speeds are similar

And that fecking little 4nm and 5-10kgs do count - taking off at lights, etc it felt as though the ZXR had a little bit extra compared to my CBR.

Dunno bout the aero bit - we need to do a comparo someday:devil2: Not a top speed run - maybe a 0-170k sprint....... I'm a bit wary of crossing that speed after what happened to the ZXR:pinch:
