I wish I could help as I have had drivers do this sort of thing to me too. I never used to have the guts to follow people in the past. I used to just ride off feeling sorry for myself but now I do follow them and tell them exactly what I think of their dangerous behaviour. I think if they can see you face to face it gives them more to think about. They might understand that there are actual people under the helmets and leathers and not try to push us off the road or into oncoming traffic.

Good luck and I hope the old cunt gets what he deserves.

I know we have a few people in the trade around here and I need a small favour.Today I had an encounter with a guy driving a Daihatsu Sirion or a very similar type of car.I'm not going into to much detail here, other than to say he used his car as a weapon and then refused to pull over when I finaly caught up with him again.I know I can go to the LTSA an just get his details there but I want to get this done as soon as possible and this is my fastest avenue.
If somebody could PM me I will pass on this guys Rego' number so a search can be done.I do know he lives in Waiuku and he's about 65-70 years old.
I can assure anybody that helps me get this old cunts details,I'm not going to punch his head in as much as he deserves it.I'm just going to rock up and tell him what WILL happen if he ever does what he did today again.Face to face I should make an impression he won't forget
Cheersw.
He who drives and runs away lives to drive another day. Are you really surprised he didn't stop?

I am 66 and I watched an old school buddy beat the snot out of a 30yr old who tried to teach him a lesson one day.:eyepoke:

I don't know who got the biggest surprise, the young fella or me.

The guy couldn't fight for shit when he was at school.

Just thought ya might like to know that. :blip: Cheers John.

No, but his arguement is not with me, so I don't have to put on my running shoes.
I was just making the point. Sometimes all is not as it seems.:shit: Cheers John.

File a complaint with the police, but I wouldn't advise you to make a personal visit. Sounds like you are angry and you may well have the right to be angry with this guy, but stop and think for a minute. He's not a young guy and he could very well have been bloody petrified when he realised someone was trying to get him to pull over. He may have been totally unaware of whatever he did wrong, and you shouting the odds at him isn't going to change anything.

If he really was a danger to you on the road, tell the police. I have no idea how old you are but if you are younger than this guy you will not appear a hero if you start threatening him.

If you are not prepared to get the information yourself, I can only assume you don't want YOUR name attached to the request. If not, why not - are you planning on something more than a chat?

Mmn, definitely old enough to know better then!

Years ago I remember seeing the fear in my father's eyes as he was about to be hit by a near neighbour at least 20 years younger than him. His crime? He'd said "there's no need for that kind of language" to this guy's teenage daughter after she'd told him to "f*ck off" when he went out to clear the mail box. Don't know what she told her father, but the next thing he jumped the two fences separating his place and ours and grabbed my father by the shirt and was drawing back to punch him when I arrived. Big hero.

The funny thing is, he was a devout Catholic - if you've read my other post about our Brethren neighbours, you'll understand why I'll be advertising for atheist neighbours in future!

Then there's the young tossers who think throwing a punch is the answer to frustration. They find that being dropped by someone 2 1/2 times their age is very embarrassing. (and that choke holds aren't very nice)

.. grabbed my father by the shirt and was drawing back to punch him when I arrived. i..

The mark of a plonker, that. While he's drawing back to punch, stiff thumb into the eye socket and hook it upwards. Then a rigid forearm across the throat to crush the larynx

Better far to run away than fight. But if y'have to fight and really have no other chocie , fight to kill.

Ok I got his details and now I 'm going to check to see their correct, then I'm going to send him a very shitty note telling him that I now know where he lives.

Ah... Don't write "I know where you live", that would legally be considered a threat. Write him a note telling him not to be a cunt, just getting the note tells him you know where he lives.

Have you gone to the cop shop ? if you are pissed off enough I'm sure they'll send someone round to check up on the driver. If not, one of our resident police people might be persuaded to have a quiet chat to him suggesting he pull his head in.

Road rage has no excuse, but much like politically motivated crime there is leniency shown for no real reason. A car is a deadly weapon.

Perhaps if car drivers didn't regard their cars and the piece of road they are on as their personal space/genitals they wouldn't feel so pathetic, belittled and impotent when you overtake.

Sigh... If my penis was like my bike it would be black, things would be dropping off it and you be able to tell where I'd been by the oily smears and drips... Actually it is like my bike.

Sorry Jackrat, I must be showing my age! For some reason I kept reading that you were "going to", rather than "Not" going to!
My mistake, it did sound out of character from your other posts.
The old people have to be responsible for their own actions just like anyone else and I have seen some shocking driving from some of them.
I certainly support your feelings and motives but not sure about your proposed method of action.
It pisses me off because these socialist governments make blanket rules for everyone, these other oldies are fucking it up for me too and I'm perfect. :shit: Cheers John.

Just a thought JR. I've had plonkers who've done that sort of thing to me run off to the plod with their own concocted tale that I'd done this that and the other. Totally false, but where the plod are concerned he who strikes first often wins. Might be best to tell your version of it to the plod (leaving out what you think appropriate) before he gets in with HIS version.

Na, the police are toothless in this case. Your right, write a note . Just don't threaten him unless you mean it.

In all honesty JR I think you should get over it and move on.
Don't sweat over what you haven't really got control of.
You could have an "off" while you are thinking about this silly old prick.
I certainly understand but is it really worth the internal agro?
His bad behaviour is starting to control you. Not good for your health. :nono: Cheers John.

I gave him a phone call.
All I did was ask him if he was himself,he said he was. Then I told him who I was(the guy on the red bike). He went very quite, so I quoted his own address to him and hung up.

Ahahahaha... He probably shat a brick and then died of a heart attack...

I hope you used a pay phone ?... (You know, those things in boxes on the street they used to have before mobiles existed.)

Sedge.

Yes, all hail to Jackrat - rat by name, rat by nature! He's a big hero and I should respect that.

Otherwise I suppose he'll get all upset and red rep me. Whoops, too late, he's already done that. I'm trembling in my jandals. :Pokey:

And I feel bloody sorry for any poor bastard riding a red bike through Waiuku - if this guy is as dangerous as you make out, and if he decides to get back at "the guy on the red bike", no one riding a red bike will be safe!
