I'm looking for a low mileage bike and one that is in great cosmetic condition (i.e. not dropped or scuffed) My budget is limited to about 6 grand. Also nothing older than 10 yrs. CBR or GSXR preferred.
cheers.

Sounds like your a bit stuck, either you will probably have to pay a bit more to get a CBR/GSXR with a few less ks or buy one with more for the money you have!

Trademe is definitly the place to keep a lookout anyway, you never know!

Mine has been sold now anyways.

Good luck, CBRs rock:banana:

cheers.Yeah, IMO you could be lucky to get what you want at this price. There are quite a few 1996/96 GSXR750's for around $6000 but normally the mileage is high. Jim's CBR600 looked to be about as good a price you will see for a bike like that.

Yah they seem to be getting good money for them.

I'm from the UK and thought that bikes would be cheaper over here but they seem to hold their value even more. (you can get a low mileage '98 GSXR600 for around $5500-6000 in UK)

I might have to go for a bit older bike or save up a little more dosh I reckon....

Wicked I am off to Spain to live for a while soon, I am hoping they are cheaper there, if not I might pop over to England and get one!
