Went out for a ride during the day with Beyond and a mate of his for a few hours. Had a beer and a bit of a rest and before I knew it it was time to get my sorry ass home if I wanted to eat.

You have my deepest sympathies, Kels. It has now been six weeks, one day, one-and-a-half hours since I have been able to ride a motorcycle...

I hope that your sorry ass wasn't what you ate when you finally arrived home.

Don't race back on your bike too quick. 6 weeks isn't long when you consider that if you bugger your arms up, you might never ride again :o

Hi Kels,
I'm hoping that you will take it easy and take the full 6 weeks for your wrist to recover. Please don't rush back on the bike. You want to have full range of motion before you ride again. I know it sucks but better to be safe on the bike than not. Good luck.
Cheers.

2 weeks... only 2 bloody weeks....... i havn't been able to ride in 3 months and still have another 3months to go. bloody hell i wish it was 2 weeks. 2 broken feet mean no gear changes and first gear doesn't do it for me (also a bit hard to hold up bike at the lights).
Good luck with the op man.

Hey Kels all the best for the op.
I've had mine done years ago. You'll wanna take the 6 weeks. It isn't fun and you won't want to buggar up the op and go through it again. Hope its not your main hand, or that you're only getting the one done-Its a buggar trying to do the essentials. :blank:
You maybe able to drive if you have an auto in two weeks, but hard to ride when your hand is wrapped up like a drumstick.

All the best for the op Kels!!! :niceone: I think two weeks to get back on the bike might be pushing it though. Ask Crashe she had that sort of op last year, I think. I would be erring on the side of caution.
Take care!!

Yeah rest it up good kelz, don't wanna be riding with extraneous degrees of pain and have something happen on the bike. Among other more important consequences you might have to paint it again...

Hi ya:spudwave:
I had both wrists done at the same time last year:eek5:
Makes life so much better :apint:
Good luck and I am sure that you will be happy with the result.
Don't worry about being of the bike just relax and heal:apumpin:
How long was I of the bike, not so long, but if I could do it again I would not have pushed as hard as I did.

Well one week down and 5 to go! :crybaby:
They told me I can go to the docs and have the stitches out on Saturday...my reply was "No need to visit the doctors...I can do it myself" They kinda looked at me oddly :eek5: I have no idea why.
