Anyone in Bulls... or Manawatu?

Hey

If there is anyone in Bulls, Manawatu would you mind test riding a bike for me?

I've got my eye on a 95 ZXR250 on trademe, however the seller claims he does not have time to take the bike to a bike shop for an appraisal, and don't want to buy it just willy nilly and find out its a heap of rubbish.

If anyone can help please let me know :)

Thanks I'll give them a call... bikes seem to be cheaper down that way... ZXR's in the shops here are between $5500 and $6500... it's stupid...

I just gave them a call, not too sure of the name of the guy I spoke to, but he was very friendly, had a nice little chat. Unfortunatley he's sold both the ZXR's he had in there, but he said he usually gets new ones every month and took my details to give me a call as soon as the next one comes in...

Blue Sky is out now, Off to burn some gas, and practice what Aaron told me on Wednesday (Now my Quads don't hurt like they did for the past two days!). Big Ups to Aaron and Hayden for their efforts on Wednesday by the way (Even though the rain dampened the track).

I'd be a bit concerned dealing with someone on Trademe with no previous sales.

I dunno why you think bikes are cheaper down here as I'm convinced theres heaps better deals to be had in Auckland.


PM if you want me to go and have a look as I really should be test riding more bikes. The guy says its "mint" what does this mean? No bike that old is ever mint.

I'm not looking for a perfect bike... just want a 92 to 95 ZXR 250 with under about 35,000 to 45,000 K's on the clock, want the body (farings) to be in good order (which means anything I don't need to pay to fix). Dead set on the ZXR's with the single light at the front... Don't care too much about the colour as I'm gonna get it painted anyway...

I've got all the parts I need for it to make it "that much better". After Market pipe which sounds mean, quarter turn throttle, rev limiter, alarm, LED lights, brand new tires, new sprockets, new screen... e.t.c all thats missing is the bike lol

thanks for all the offers to test ride the bike... that guy on TradeMe turned out to be a bit dodgy... Keen to sell the bike, but not keen to get it checked out or use Safe Trader... So I told him I wasn't interested anymore...
