Hi guyz, i was just wondering if anyone knows how much horsepower the 2001 kawasaki gpx250 puts out and how does it compare to a cbr250rr or a zxr250c?

Given that it is virtually the same engine as the ZZR250 (parallel twin - GPX may be in higher state of tune), I'd say around 35-40hp, whereas the CBR250 and ZXR250 (inline fours) would have around 40-45hp.. I'd guess there wouldn't be more than 5hp difference between them (barring performance mods) as both would be restricted anyway.

Having ridden a CBR250 and owned a ZZR250, I'd say the ZZR has more low and midrange power, whereas the CBR is all about the top end! The handling on the CBR is more more sportier too.
