Holden Australia are auctioning off the last monaro to come off the factory lines... It has a few distinctive features. The most distinctive feature is the price... bidding is already at $250,000 AU dollars with 9 days to go!
A pretty awesome one of a kind collectors item

All proceeds being donated to the Leukaemia Foundation. (good on ya holden)

While the Leukaemia Foundation is a very good cause, I'd never spend $250k on a friggen Holdun.

I wouldn't spend 250k on a car full stop.

Good idea auctioning it off though, well done to those Aussies I say.

Id spend 250k on a car, if I had it!, but it wouldnt be a holden :msn-wink:
its a great idea though, to create an awesome collectors item and genuine investment of an ozzy icon :wari:
I think the best part is that its all for charity, not the fat cats

up to 520,000AU holy shit! and 9 days left :corn:

(to be allowed to bid you must first register your credit card, making yourself liable for a $250AU fine should you not pay up...)

but still, maybe to some moron, its worth $250au for 5mins of fame
in this event of a non-paying bidder, they say it will be re-listed.
