View Full Version : To whoever is lurking around my place:

I don't mind people stopping round at any time, but I do mind people lurking around and scarpering off after a couple of minutes.
To who ever is riding a bike in jeans, a red lid and red jacket on a 250 (or less?), you've been spotted twice. Either come up and say hi so I know who you are and can even offer ya a drink etc, or just go away and give it up. I'm not standing for it, and I will call the fuzz about it.
Like I said, I don't mind people stopping round, so if it's someone here then send me a PM so I know who you are, I don't want to shame you in front of everyone, but I'm not having people lurk around my place.

If it's predictable at all let me know - happy to help if needed.
You got my number but I'll probably be either at home or work... 25 kms away.
If I can help, lemme know.

MDU - cheers mate, hopefully it's just a case of mistaken address or whatever. I hope nothing comes of it but a note to say who they are.

the garage is well locked down, but if someone wants something, there's not a lot you can do to stop them. I hope nothing gets stolen. Hope it's just case of mistaken ID. I'm not one for violence etc, so I'd rather the person just comes forward, and I'd be happy.
But I work hard for my toys, I'll share, but I'm not giving.

I intend to be outside next time (well, or go out) and ask. I would have gone this time, but when kelly saw them, and asked if I was expecting anyone, I said no and had a look out the window and thru the tree, saw someone getting on a bike and heading off. Next time I'll be a bit sharper

Its WT, he is secretly in love with your bike.
chickenfunkstar
10th February 2006, 11:49
Maybe he's just a novice rider who knows you ride a bike and wants to learn some tips? Maybe he's to scared to knock on the door and is hoping you'll come out?
Once when I was working on my bike in my gargre I had a guy ride up and down my street heaps of times, slowing as he went past my house. Didn't stop though.

10th February 2006, 13:16
Damn rotten stuff this. Hope it's not one someone for Kelly or a thief. That's how it starts, bastards scope out your place and neighbours, then suddenly you walk in to a burgled house.
I guess you now keep your jacket and helmet near the door and keys in your pocket when around the house.

A very effective method of deterrant is one of those airgun replicas of a colt 45, with a garden variety office laser pointer mounted on it.
I think we can all see where this is leading.

Comes with the territory of being such a popular guy Kit! :msn-wink: Just think how much of this crap celebrities have to deal with, there are some weird peeps out there, some dangerous and some harmless...sounds to me like this *fellow biker* hasn't done too much wrong YET, and if I was you I would hurry outside and confront him next time (if there is a next time?) you spot him on your property.

what, in bike gear, twice in one week..??
nah..
Zed, cheers.. nope, he hasn't done anything wrong yet, but I'm not wanting to give anyone the chance either. I'd rather be friendly about it than anything else, but it just looks strange to be looking around a house for a minute then ride off quick.

Similar thing happened to me just last week. Some prick on a Street Magic tagged my front wall "HONDA SUX & FINN'S A FAG" It was in caps. Couldn't get the reg in time.

I hate wankers that do that sort of thing, and generally just don't show respect for other peoples property. Shame you didn't catch him/her. I'd spray him/her and his/her bike.

Go to Rebel - buy a $15 baseball bat - put it in the coat cupboard - and relax.

Umm.. Bit of a late reply.. But if you still don't know who it is then I seriously suggest that you alert neighbours.. And DO NOT leave your female companion at home alone.. Its a bit difficult.. But its just to be on the safe side.. Could be a complete over reaction.. But better to be safe than sorry..
