Sorry if this has been covered, I've just joined the site, but have you all seen the new Vincent?

Hey, that looks like my kinda bike! Was thinking already of getting a new Triumph Bonnie (it's a nostalgia thing, you under 30s wouldn't understand) - must find out more about the Vincent. Time to roll back the Asian invasion - best of British forever!
P.S. no oil leaks, eh?:p

Yeah , I read about these things making a comeback some time ago. They are a great looking machine thats for sure. Funny how so many of the vehicle designs from that era had a timeless quality about them eh.

Hot damn, that's some sweet looking piece of bike. It's got that classic styling, with just a touch of modern brutishness. /waxes poetic

Its a nice bike in an old fashioned way, but, I still think if Phil Irving was alive designing bikes, he would be designing something a little more modern, pioneering, a V twin, yes, but, as Vincents were advanced superbikes of their day, I think it might be more up to date.........

What.....

Someone did.......

oh!

Yeah, you're probably right about Phil's pioneering spirit...
Maybe this guy's got the right idea?

I read a review of this bike in T.W.O. magazine and found out that this bike is a Vincent in name only. And the legal name holders in the U.K. who still make parts for the original Vincent’s may still contest even that in the courts.

This bike is built in the U.S. and has a Honda SP-2 engine. It really annoys me when someone thinks that by slapping on a badge they should get the respectability and heritage that comes with it. It’s almost as bad as when Honda put a MG bade on their Civics.

It’s a nice looking bike, but it is NOT a Vincent.

They did try to build an engine using the original Vincent design, but they could not get the reliability and performance they wanted.

Another illusion shattered.
Next someone will tell me the new Bonnie is really a Kawasaki... :(

It may not be a real Vincent, but it nice to know people are still building classic style bikes. The build your Vincent option on their site is cool. Thou fuel injection for a bike like this just doesn't feel right.
