Kay Engineering have over the last 5 years built this 'Ferrari' motorcycle, with the full support of Ferrari, as a tribute to Enzo. Farkin ugly (hmm, maybe that's a bit too harsh) if you ask me, it could only end up being an art piece or a piece of motoring history. 250,ooo pounds will get you this bike, fuck knows where you'd get it serviced though!! 'Ah yeah, I'm after a replacement clutch cover for my Ferrari motorcycle [click], hello, hello, anyone there?'

Farking hell. Why? Ok owning one would make you the most popular motorbiker in NZ, but thats just going too far.

Maybee it's Rossi's next ride and the real reason he is talking to Ferari.
Wait for them to move in to Moto GP / SBK.

Stick to cars me thinks, can't see much special about this bike other than the badge. But even then, it's no Suzuki.

Isn't it the Kay family who build the replica MV Agusta bikes and parts? because thats what the motor looks like

Kay Engineering have over the last 5 years built this 'Ferrari'

on here it says it was built in 1996?

Thanks for that, the report I saw in todays press didn't name a build year.

It looks like Kay Engineering found a book called "Racing Bikes of the 1960's" and copied it.

The frame looks like a '73 RD350s

It looks like they've used the oringinal MV Augusta blue prints. Not bad at all if you ask me- http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/Bike%20Directories/MV%20Agusta%20Bikes/MV%20Agusta%20Index.htm

I'd cut the tale down a bit though.

There was a shaft drive to chain conversion kit for these beasties and they certainly where the nuts guts in their time.

End of history lesson...................

As DM says "I'm sure the engineering is top notch" given Ferrari's styling I'm surprised at the lines of this bike. It's either retro in the extreme or just f*cking ugly. Not like most other Ferrari's.

look at the riding postion, looks like you need gorilla arms to ride it.
Still if i had won that 11 mill from the jackpot last week, i would buy one, then melt it down and make knee sliders out of it.

I can see a bit of Testarossa influence on the arse end and the intakes to the airbox. That look should have been left on four wheels.

I wouldn't one myself.
