Hey, been on here for a little while and love it :)

I've finally got money to go for my Learner's Licence, and I'm just wandering with the "scratch and win" if there is any 'wierd/strange/unexpected' questions that differ to the cage scratch and win. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

oh, just some pure randomness, which should (well... maybe) put a smile on your face. I have the AccuWeather.com toolbar for Firefox installed and it's forecast for monday is: "Partly sunny and beautiful, 23 degrees C". HAHAHA when has a weather forecast formally called a day BEAUTIFUL!!!

with licenses there is the general section and then 10 specilist questions.

for a class 1 (car license) there are 15 possible spec qs, but with a bike there are 75ish? possible qestions.

its pretty much stuff like "Which brake should you use when starting facing uphill?" but there are some tricky ones, theres a website with them on somewhere, dunno where.

i suggest getting a copy of the bike road code from the library.

EDIT: Here ya go, i found it for ya http://www.drivinginstructor.co.nz/main_frame.php?goto_page=courses/test.php&q_category=Motor%20Cycle&page_title=Courses&sub_menu=common/sub_courses.php

I did the theory test on Friday, and the specific motorbike questions aren't too difficult, but if you get a copy of the motorcycle road code, they have all the questions in the back, so you can figure them all out before hand.
I think they were scratching the bottom of the barrel a bit to get decent motorcylce related questions, so most of them are pretty obvious.

I did mine on Tuesday and the only q I had to think about was the one about medications..... Got 35 out of 35 though. It's not hard just take a deep breath and think about it.

Go to www.drivinginstructor.co.nz and click the link for courses and you can do some practise free online.

Hope this helps and from one L plater to another good luck and see you on the blacktop.
