Pulled the top cover of my xr yesterday to fix an oil leak.
The bearings on the end of the cam have a seal on one side, so while I'm in there I'm replacing the bearings, as one of the seals is damaged. cheap as chips so why not.
I had to run before I got into putting it back together yesterday, but with the quick few minutes I had before shooting andgetting some bearings for today before the shop closed, I couldn't work out how to let off the chain tensioner to get the bearing off/on the sprocket end..... there doesn't seem to be anything external...
also wanting tappet clearances
any ideas? I don't have a workshop manual...
it's a 1992 model
cheers, Cam
