Well it took around 16 hours (and 36hrs of no sleep on both parts) but he finally made an appearance.

Baby Jack was born on Feb 12th at 12:45pm weighing in at 7lb, 11oz.

Isn't it amazing to experience such a joy right infront of your eyes come into our world?! Always has brought a tear or two watching my kids(5) pop out for the first time. All they need is loving up....easy eh?
Now rest up and prepare for bliss....

Well we're home finally after her being in Maternity ward for 24hours.

Very tired but adjusting, just gotta prepare for the flood of visitors now.

Well we're home finally after her being in Maternity ward for 24hours.

Very tired but adjusting, just gotta prepare for the flood of visitors now.

The flood of visitors is cool - gently remind them you both need support... and a lasagne of something would be welcome so you can keep it on ice.

Then keep them for when the flood of visitors stops. The silence'll get ya.

Congrats again

Yes but at least Jess and Ants have named their baby - Jack.

We are all still waiting for you and your wife to name your baby daughter - oh yeah she has been named "14/1"

Warm congrats to you both! Ahh the memories! Our youngest daughter has just got engaged and our eldest daughter is about to present us with our first grandchild, a boy. Our son is 30 now!!! Time flies, so enjoy the little fella while he stays little! I always feel sorry for the first born as you are learning about babies and make all the mistakes on him! By the time you're on your third, you know what to do and they are a breeze! :ride:

Its a boy they say,
And He's here to stay!
What will He be like?
He is such a little tyke.
Will he like to ride a bike?

What ever the answers may be,
Life will change you see,
A miracle He is in your life.
To watch Him grow
Sharing love, forevermore!

Well done team.

I have a 3 week old son in the house myself. (our third)
Is very draining getting woken up every night, two or three times a night.
Share the load. Give each other some 'I'm tired and grumpy' slack, and look forward to that first 'He slept ALL night' moment!
