WTF is this guys problem? So it's a fence with some bras on it, so what? It's a now an attraction and the locals seem to have no problem with them there, get over it.

BTW nice photo in the item too :niceone:

It is a hazard.

I damned near flat spotted two tyres and dropped my bike trying to stop in time to see two English lasses liberating their bras last year! ( God bless em )

This is an important local issue down here. Show some respect!
I'm not sure I'm entirely happy with the mocking tone developing early on in this thread!

It is an Eyecon.

We were dissapointed the Shoe fence has gone from by Fairly. The country can't afford to loose too many tourist attractions.

I'm not sure a decision has been reached.
There was such an incredulous response when it became known that the council were even debating it that I think the discussion might have stopped.
I tell ya, we've got the important issues down here ya know.

Apparently we have the greatest ratio of reporters to populace in the country down here so I think you may be able to draw some conclusions there..........

What a shame the council is thinking of not supporting it!

Colapop

A solution would be to move the fence back from the boundary and provide an entranceway so people are not putting the "things" on a boundary fence.... And then set up a viewing booth across the road :corn: .... with curtains and peep holes and.....

Oops no um scratch that last bit.:shifty:

There used to be something similar in Bulls.
When driving from Wanganui traveling south, on the 1st corner into Bulls there was a house with a floor to ceiling window out front. The owners had a woman manikin which they dressed in sassy lingerie. They must have had a few costumes as she was always "dolled" up in something new. You just caught a glimpse as you cornered into Bulls and if you didn’t expect it was quite a shock – you’d have to have a second take to see it wasnt real.
Was funny as.

I think they've moved to Sanson now.... to another house with a full length front window!

Not only is he a foreigner but a part-time resident at that. He's not even here for most of the year. If he doesn't like it so much he doesn't have to come here.
Is this yet another case of americans going to another and "educating" the local population to the joys of an American way of life?

but you would have nothing to 'Winjabout'......anyway, one thing dictating, another thing accepting eh? Otherwise you will then be dictating that people cannot dictate...works both ways......

Stuff him he can go back to his little cotton wool wrapped state/town and moan about the virtues of NZ and bra fences.

This clown comes from a country that makes billions each year from the porn industry, billions a year from graphic movies showing violence, and lets not even mention the computer games industry.

This is a complaint from one of the nation that gave us Burger King, McDonalds and some of the lamest television around then wonders why the world is fat and lazy. He can sell his property and F&*K OFF better yet let confiscate all his assets and deport him.

Excellent! Let them complain about the boobie-fence all they want~ that's free advertising and will no doubt boost tourism by at least 20,000,000 visitors to Wanaka and Queenstown every year! The local coffers will be brimming over with foreign dolleros and households will increase spending further boosting the economy... and it is all thanks to the mammaries!
We at KB salute you! :niceone:

Brilliant 'The Great KB Undie Run' coming to a fence near you. Pick a random fence and do it every year. Woo hoo! I'm sure I could persuade Mrs Oakie to leave one of her 18Ds behind.
The Bra Fence is on a road between Wanaka and Queenstown but it's not the main road. I've only done the road once and that was in a car ... but I did see the fence.

Be funny to see, but I ain't telling ym wife to leave any there, have you not seen the cost of bras these days? My Gosh!!

BTW does anyone else here get funny looks when buying wife undies? Particularly at that fitting room stage, she is in the fitting room, and you are standing outside (by the counter) looking at all the ladies as they go by and test/make their purchases... its all a bit seedy really...

Highlander

Even worse than that is when you're there with a teenage daughter. You feel really out of place. I tell her to go and do her bit then txt me when it is time to come and pay for it.
