So what is the difference? Sorry for the ignoramas question, but I dont know too much about Trumpies. I take it the Speed Triple is the sporty version, and the Trident is more of a cruiser?...

Can't find Tridents on the Triumph website; are they no longer produced?

And for my last silly question; I presume if I purchased one I would have to find myself some imperial tools?

Will be in the market soon for a naked and :apumpin: sporty cruiser, no more'n 8g's if possible. Any suggestions? Dream bikes (what I obviously cant afford) would be Buell, Monster, V-Max, Raptor...

Could go for a TL1000S, but even the bra faring is a little much for my nekked tastes.

your talking about the earlier 900s obviously

the Trident is pretty much the entry level model ( stock standard all-rounder) where as the Speed Triple is basically a naked Daytona minus the 6th gear, apart from either the 94 or 95 model which came out in 6speed configuration ( and is considered the pick of the earlier S/Ts).

8 grand opens a fair few doors so shop around and check whats out there
