Nice bike. Tell me, is that steel frame on the back used for hanging the bike on a coat hook when you've finished riding? Great storage idea.

hmmm i wouldnt say hauls arse.

Remeber, its still a GN250 commuter bike.

It will feel fast compared to your Mini motard of course. But it will feel slow soon.

have fun and be safe dude ;)

Good to hear Mark! This is fantastic, now if you come on any of the rides I do I'll have someone that I can overtake :D

Good choice of bike

bout time, pitty you havent broken 20hp yet :2guns:

what you want to do is flip the handle bars so they are like race bike bars, take the seat off and put a smaller seat on it, put some 17inch rims with sticky race tread and chase me and tristan over coromandel. Have fun at 110kmh, for me it was scarier on a GN250 at 110 than on the R6 at 260kmh

Fantastic Mark!!!

I like your new GN much more than your first GN http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=21276&d=1133761694

You can throw your rusty old GN into a public stream now where it belongs.

[edit] But I am just joking of course about the stream. Chuck it over the neighbour's fence tonight.

With the weight of two people, the bike will die far before the guy being dragged.

HEY!!! My bike (Honda Xelvis) ain't exactly fast, but I called it Diavola Rosa (Red Devil)... it sounds awesome! :woohoo:

And remember, Italy = Fiat Bambino as well...

The Piece = La Parte
The Shit = La Feci
Speed = Velocità
The Machine = La Macchina

My vote still lies with La Bestia though.

You can tell non-biker people it's called that and they will then think that GN250E stands for:

"Giant Normally-aspirated 2.5 Litre Engine"

Because it does.

Most people in western countries may sniff at bikes like the GN250, but back when I was a teenager in Nepal, I used to lust after my mate's GN125. It was waaay faster than my Indian-made 'Hero' Honda CD100 and had a front disk brake to boot! Still, I did manage to carry a pillion quite easily, despite only having less than 10 hp!

When I was going to uni in Auckland, I finally achieved my dream of owning a GN125. Had a great time with it too - even riding on the motorway is an adventure when you have to brace yourself against the push-pull aerodynamic effect of a passing lorry!

No doubt you'll have plenty of laughs with your new steed too, Mark. :niceone:

Good possibility depending on the gearing and size of the rear cog. My GN was setup to be quick through the gears and produced a lot of torque, but had a top speed of around 100kmph.

Love those bikes, no one disses them, whoever does is obviously a fuckwitt.
