It looks like I will be getting a second bike - a 1981 Honda CB250N - and am looking at getting it transported from Cromwell to Christchurch. I am currently reviewing a few options to get it here but I have a quote from biketranz for $240 and also my dad is in Wanaka with a van with a tow bar and could tow it back in a rental trailer (prob wont fit inside van). Is there anyone here that could help out with getting the bike to chch? Time is not important and it can wait a few weeks.

They managed to get a courier to transport it for $50. Here are some pics of the new bike to the garage:

$50 That's not a bad deal. I think you did all right at that.
Mind you it's only $40 for the ferry by comparison! John.

Hey it dosent look to bad, on ya man. Now if its been stored for a while it would pay to give it a good going over, including them old Conti tyres.
Is that a Sagar pipe on it? I had a 250T once with a 2-1 and they do sound sweet aye.
