On the frontpage, on the right.
"What is the fastest you've ever driven a vehicle on New Zealand roads?"

We are a nation of speeders.

think they'll record your IP and pop round for a chat?
wee only speed, cos the speed limit is so damn slow.. Bikes should have an exemption from the speed limit
lol - 53 votes on 'up to 100kph'
think most of the votes above 201kph are bikes?

200kph+ is the fastest option? They haven't talked to many Busa/Gixxer owners.

nah... already in a box, and really, if you can do 179, why not just wait a second and you can check another box??
Time and a place for everything, and it never means you do that all the time :nono:

bugMeister, you been away or something?? Of course that 254 was at pukekohe.. this poll is for public roads. :psst:
errrrrrr sure.. puke..
actually, technically, when Puke hold their 'test days', it becomes a public road, and I topped my bike out at 285.. so I could just claim that..

Relative to space that is.

and its a dumb poll anyway - just because your were a dumbass once and did 220, doesn't mean you do that all the time.
they should ask - on average, how fast do you travel on the open road... if that were the case i would tick 100-110... because, although i like going fast, i try and keep it on the track...
that will all probably change when i pick up my new bike, but in a car at least, i try not to be a retard.

:slap:
Well it's good enough for most cars, and I'll bet my bike is cheaper to run / buy / park / fix than your car :D

Pussies, the lot of 'em. I've seen 247kph on one wheel and been clocked (average over a quater) at 261kph on a 600.
Let 'em come knocking......

Officially and quite legally I've averaged ~253 over the flying quarter on the bike, still accelerating too. Imagine how much faster I woulda been going on a Gixxer thou with an ambo chasing me. And in the car I was sitting nicely around 230ish when some twat on a TL cruised past... yeah, you know who you are!!
What that poll says to me is that 97.5% of NZ drivers are killers in wait.

and 2.5% of NZers are liars..

Actually you've done better than that...
Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour.
It's orbiting at ninety miles a second, so it's reckoned,
The sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me, and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
Through an outer spiral arm at forty thousand miles an hour
Of the galaxy we call the Milky Way.
