Seeing that everyone is having a bitching session I thought I will have a go too.
Yesterday boomer and I met up with a couple of regulars Kbers on the whole bunch of us headed off to paeroa (as one do) :wari: . That of course was all good and it was realy nice to meet up with some regulars. Just before ngatea (I think that’s how you spell it) on that long straight piece of road we pulled up behind a R1 so the lady on the 650 twin passed the person on R1 in safe manner as he was going slower than what we where. The problem occurred that when boomer and I wanted to pass this man His holiness would not let us. The faster poor Boomer whent on his Honda 600 the faster the R1 dude would go the worst is than when boomer sensibly reduced speed and pulled in behind the guy guess what he does he slows down to the pace he was going before so Boomer gives it ago again only to get the same reaction.
So if you are Mr R1 we know you have a big dig, you realy don’t have to prove it to us. You should not feel threatened by myself or boomer we are not that way we will not try and rape you mate (Well not me at least not that sure about boomer). You are such a God on a R1 and we bow down in your presence. If you are a kb member just let me know when you go on a ride cause clearly we are not worthy of your presence.
O yes if you do read this a GIRL on a 650 twin passed your sorry ass. :violin: (I have a feeling that this information will go down a treat with you!) RETARD :finger:
PS Everyone please feel free to use this thread as your "getting it off your shoulders" thread

Don't think thats on at all..
Dont know what the rider was doing... surely wasn't 'playing' just being a outright twat for not letting ya pass.
I normally like to play when I catch up to or others catch up to me.. normally letting them pass so I can watch their style before sometimes taking the lead... all in good sport =)

Yeah and trust me both boomer and i would have fine with that but this guy was just absolute twat. Aaaa well we got safely to paeroa and back.

some people just have egos' they can't cash. should have slowed down for a minute, dropped a couple of gears and nailed it past before he blinked, then carry on at your pace. If he wants to play, just ignore him..

Yep that's the main thing mate but I'm still trying to deal with the fact that Boomer actually caught up to something :spudwhat:
Ratshit attitude by the tosser on the R1. As mentioned before I like to have a "play" when coming up on others(shit...gonna cop that) but dangerous is inexcusable!
Sounds like the guy is fortunate you lot have even tempers...don't think I would've taken it so well.
But as you said ya got to and from safely :drinknsin

hmmm.. road-rage isn't the answer either.. Getting back at someone for their behaviour is just plain stupid.. if the guy was acting really dangerious then dial up and inform the authorities of such actions..
meh.. thats my 2 cents.. as you were

Giving the cops a call would not realy been the correct thing to do. We where going slightly faster than the speed limit so its kinda like take the tree out of your own eye before taking the splinter out of anothers eye. (Translated saying ..... I think) Boomer was sensible and just slowed down it was a bit anoying. But neither boomer or I was in the mood for pissing contest

I think from what you have mentioned, that yourself and Boomer handled the situation well.. and as you said very sensibly. =)

Stop trolling! We were just riding! This guy just happened to be riding a bit slower than I wanted to so I went past. Unfortunately he seemed to take exception to a girly on an SV wandering past him at that pace. Happens all the time mate, you boys should get used to it...

How knew he that thou wast a girlie, though. Apart from long hair (not reliable, either) the "girlie attributes" (so to speak) are usually not easily discernable under helmet and leathers, especially within the short observation time available .

Yeah, don't think he would have guessed I was a girly unless my female curves in my bling leathers gave it away...

Cool, isn't that one of those free-for-all summer beach events where you all throw sand left, right and centre in the hope of finding a little disk that entitles you to a new bike? (Pushbike, of course.)
