:2thumbsup 1200 Bandit S,10,000 kms, green mettalic, registered mid 2005 but its a 2003 model so i am asuming it was in a warehouse for sometime?? Paying $10,500 for her. in really nice condition as you would expect, rear tyre has a flat worn in it so i think it been a tourer, has rear rack and those clear protectors added to the tank to protect from knee grip scratches, need a new rear tyre shortly due to it never going round corners. should get her weekend or just after. cant wait:cool:

Nice bike by the sounds. The tyre may be because of the previous owner couldn't corner properly. Thus, I doubt it has been thrashed either. Unless he lived in Mid-Canterbury (Where all the roads are straight, and made of 40 grit sand paper).

Get a new tyre on it before you get bad habits in the "cross Ply"

Well done Wil - celebrate with a trip out to Raglan, a shortish but fantastic ride via Pirongia and Whatawhata.

Well done. There were a few unsold K3's being sold quite late. I think one Auck dealer still has a new K3. Now start thinking about susp upgrades and I've got some info about getting a few more hp cheap (ish)

It was actually registered 15th october 05 so it is bloody high mileage for 4 months use. luckily i wont use it everyday only at weekends so it will even itself out over a year or two, but i am not too worried about the kms i have read articles of these engines doing 120,000 with ease with regular oil changes.

yeah, 120km would not be unusual in well maintained bikes. It's probably been used daily to work or similar, I guess at 100kms a day it soon mounts up.

Sounds about right to me......bikes are for use, not hiding away in a garage....my last gsxr I did 6000k in 7 weekends and thought I wasnt getting out enough!
