Shit I would love to get over there and watch it!. I have heard probably just bullshit? but have heard that the organisers may be pulling the plug on the event in a couple of years as there has been too many deaths while racing it.

They may have to pull the plugs because a track marshall got killed last year. She walked out on the track. Hopefully the won't cancel the race, They just need to get smarter track marshalls

Errr, yes? Is there something wrong with my sentence? The only place i'd get confused is where to put the comma. Who taught you to start a sentence with 'And'? You should be a Harold reporter

I remember reading an article a few years back where the author made the comment that the Isle of Mann TT is doomed, due to the amount of deaths/injuries and the like. He also made the comment that they would still run it for a few more years, as they wouldn't miss the oppurtunity to commerically milk the TT's hundreth aniversary.

Bearing that in mind (one mans opinion), what're the chances that this'll be the last TT?

Oh crap and bother! Jolly old aunty Helen and the rest of you tax paying few are sending me on a course in Engalnd next year! :violin: oh woe is me having to go to the Isle to take pics for the rest of KB

A point of note is that alot of the deaths are on Mad Sunday are they not? So why not ban that stupid practice, might save the race for a few years.

I was told there are more deaths from people attending the event on Mad Sunday and during the week than during the racing?

Normally nobody. If somebody wants to question someone else's English though, it would be preferable to quote something that might generally be regarded as English.

Apart from which I'd hate to miss a good movie. :-)
Could you please enlighten me as to the name.
IMDb wasn't too helpful with what was offered.

Hope your gonna hire a bike for the trip... The marshall that was killed by wandering onto the track - is that the one that took out "Old Sackface" Gus AKA performance bike tester/racer?? Fucking tragic waste, what a stupid way to go.

Nope, you're thinking of Ronnie Smith, killed riding his Dragster scooter and hitting a parked car.

Yeah its a real shame PB lost two good people so close together. Still everyone who rides on either mad sunday or at the TT knows the risks. Organisers know the risk. As long as riders ride it and people turn up to watch they should run it.

Very jealous of whoevers going........

Rider had only stopped on other side of road, no need to cross to him, she was blamed for the tradgedy....

Mad Sunday is still part of the two weeks, The mountain section is made one way for safety reasons after a few daft germans crased and burnt trying to go against the flow of UNRESTRICTED trafic going round the course:rolleyes: However it's coned off in many places so is not worth the effort...

If i'm still here, and looks like I will as my job offer has not appeared, soz room we have is Slims and her man but if we can help in any way get in touch.....
