Rialto Wellington cannot screen this movie. It will not happen.

But Lighthouse Petone can. When it comes available, and if interest is high enough, they will get it.

Start ringing - 04 939 2061 them and show some interest - if you are...

Done.

What the hell is wrong with Rialto?

Got told by Lighthouse that they're not planning to show at this stage, but if enough people ring (even if you don't go to see it) that they WILL have at least one showing.

So ring up. Not the normal read the post and think about it either. Get off your useless, fat, apathetic, cherry red motorcyclist arse and ring. Just do it. Stop carrying on like a pathetic "she'll be right" Kiwi and fucking ring them

Now

Go on.

Useless pack of shits.

PICK UP THE PHONE AND DO IT.

What is it?

edit:

NZ documentary about motorcyclist Kim Newcombe which screened in last years NZ Film Festival. Ala The World’s Fastest Indian, Newcombe made his own bike and raced to 2nd place at the ’73 World 500 Grand Prix Championship. Much of the footage was taken by his childhood sweetheart and eventual wife Janeen. “These films of action on and off the racetrack conjure up the romance and hard-scramble that characterised life for a young couple traveling the continent on the World Championship Road Racing circuit in the swinging 70s... Janeen became a widow at a very young age and this portrait of youth, vitality and sporting obsession is filtered through her enduring sense of loss.”

Weeeeeelllllll....... I just happen to work for a company that makes kickarse projectors of the really fecking ginormous sort through to meerly brilliant office type data show stuff...

If we can get the DVD I can get a projector and we could scare up a venue easy...

Profit to KB?

If I could get a DVD I would have already watched it! Getting the DVD (and it sounds almost like it is singular) is the issue. Lighthouse have not see it come up as available yet. Or they didn't know they should be looking.

They are now.

Lighthouse is available for private hire - friends of mine did it to raise money to paint their 'Arse' Bus.

If I thought that Wellington KBers would support this hiring idea more than verbally, I would hire the joint to raise money for KB. But I don't think they will.

I mean - how many have even rung Lighthouse so far? Three?

Nice idea though Paul.

In New Zealand, Love, Speed and Loss screened as part of the 2005 Auckland Film Festival and is scheduled to screen on TV3 later this year and will begin a brief theatrical release at Rialto Newmarket in Auckland commencing Waitangi Day February 6th. http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/CU0601/S00091.htmMmmm, I've been hanging out to see it for a while and the media is just behind politicians in my reliability ratings.

So Christchurch didn't get it? :killingme

I'm making sure I see it by making it happen for me.
