Gidday, just wondering about Hyosung dirt bikes.

Saw this on Trade me, and it interests me.

Bear in mind, Im old, are'nt into racing, but was wondering would this be a good deal just to tootle around my 10 acres on weekends on, with the occasional small leap over a mound etc.

Appreciate your thoughts on the bikes and the prices.

They look ok,I'm kinda impressed with the Hyosung stuff, but don't know about long term.Suspension is probably crap and it has a rear drum - but all adequate for intended purpose.

I could'nt really find any info on the 250 on the net, and the prices do seem cheap, but for around that price I've only been seeing battered old XRs, which I was looking for, but preferably not battered.

The RX250 was never imported by the Hyosung Distributor (KAwasaki NZ), so parts for these are not readly avaialbe, i would stay away from them

Don't get one of these mate. they will not last the distance, I reccomend you save up and buy a real bike. the other reason is if you break it nobody will service it, as if they fix it and then it breaks down again, because of the laws in NZ they have to fix it again, so you will be turned down at most motorcycle shops.

cant really tell on looks but if the person says its lik an XR250 then its probably a solid, heavy and slow bike, but bloodly reliable. If you do get keep me up to date on performance reviews, maintenance issues and how good they are to work on etc. Interested to see where this brand goes
