Well its all Go go go tonight as the first round of the Superbikes kicks off in Qatar Doha, Losail on Sky Sport 2 at 9:45 pm

WEATHER THE MAIN FACTOR ON OPENING DAY With early morning rains continuing for most of the day at Losail, the first untimed session proved to be fully wet, even though the timed afternoon session was held in slowly drying conditions. Troy Bayliss (Ducati Xerox) proved to be the rider with the greatest feel in the semi-wet track surface, scoring provisional pole with a time of 2’17.326. His team-mate Lorenzo Lanzi played it safe on day one, with better conditions expected on the second and final day, scoring 27th fastest time. An eclectic provisional front row included the PSG-1 Kawasakis of Regis Laconi (2nd) and Chris Walker (4th), with third place taken by the reigning World Champion, Tory Corser (Alstare Suzuki).

Interesting grid but Im sure the mighty GSXR will reign supreme :ar15:

Bayliss is a demon in the wet tho and the Stalker on his Kwaka is not too shabby either :D ....no sign of Honda tho.......

Bring it ON!!!!:chase: :eyepoke: :buggerd:

....and for Boopmer and the other HonDUH riders out there....

SUPERSPORT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (WSS™)
Kenan Sofuoglu (Winston Honda Ten Kate) showed immense speed and commitment in his first ever World Supersport qualifying session, overcoming wet track conditions to score provisional pole by almost two seconds. Reigning champion Sebastien Charpentier (Winston Ten Kate Honda) only went 12th fastest, having set nine tentative laps in the 45-minute session. Yamaha’s new R6 machine, in the hands of Kevin Curtain (Yamaha Motor Germany) was second quickest, with Gianluca Nannelli (Kopron Edo Racing Yamaha) third, and Curtain’s team-mate Broc Parkes fourth. Norwegian rider Kai Borre Andersen added a splash of Suzuki colouring to the provisional grid, taking his all-new Hoegee Team GSX-R600 to fifth. Top Ducati was the LBR Racing 749 of Christian Zaiser, ninth.

Yeah hope he does allright and it could be a place for Hayden Fitzgerald to go he is one fast rider. I hope Bayliss kicks ass tonight he is the man, Kinda sucks Chris Vermuleun (sp) aint there or else it would be a pretty good season only problem is ten Kate struggle the first half of the season then there bike gets fast all of a sudden and starts winning

Don't get to excited by the European show, they are allowed to tune motors, the thing most relivant to us in New Zealand with our rules is, what do they do out of the box as a production bike

Only just got sky hooked up and notice I cant get any fucken sport at all, even though I pay 97 a month, fucken thieves, divide the service up and charge extra for each bennifit, smart I guess but a move that makes me think they can shove a good handful of pebbles up there arse.

Now I got that outta me system I think I will ring them up and upgrade it !:crybaby:

I missed it all, but to see Chris Peris qualify 15th and finish in 18th place made the gamble of bringing him to New Zealand a very worth while exersice this season, I wanted to show some of our up and coming riders Hayden Fitzgerald Dom Jones etc that the guy's in the world scene are beatable!

Thanks to Chris for coming and I hope his results get better for him.

yeah i watched the race, didnt see much of him but he was in a 4 way battle for 16th to 19th for pretty much the whole race, covered by less than a second for most of it. Think he managed to get up to 15th for a lap or 2 but then dropped back. Be good to see how he goes when he gets to a track that he has raced on before.
