Placemakers have ratchet tie downs for $3.99 a pair.
These are fine for securing your bike on the interislander.

Shit! Even the WareWhare charge around $30 for a pair - are these ones strong enough?

I have some of these. One of them held a lathe midair (with a impact drop load of a couple of inches), weighing about half a ton, when I was unloading it from a trailer . So I'd say so.
(I was using two, but I fumbled one and the other had to take the entire weight for a bit. There was a chain hoist backup rated at two tons. Just to forestall any comments about rashness)

They are the same ones I used on the Bandit.
Rated at 350 kg each
Plenty good enough.
The webbing is thin and I put it double through the ratchet so I could use the loop end around the bars etc. instead of using the hooks.
I even used one to pull the neighbours quad out of the creek after his flat mate flipped it and broke her ankle

You'll get worse than a rash if a lathe falls on you.
