Hey y'all we're riding down with a few others from these ways for a couple of drinkies at the Puhoi Pub tomorrow(26th). Afterwards we'll be going for a jaunt prolly up Mangawhai way(as it comes) too.
Will be meeting GrahameBoy at around 1:30pm at the pub so if anyone's up for it would be good to meet y'all :yeah:

May doodle along around 1:30pm then, don't know if I can be bothered going for a blat out Mangawhai, judging by the size of your bike it'd be a waste of time going for a 'group ride'. Then again, you might be a nanna, are you?

On a serious note :blah: ...never has or ever will be an issue with riding speeds mate.
All good as we're about riding not posing etc so would be great if we caught up with you :yes:

i so would be keen, be nice to meet the northland crew.
but i don't think i can weasel out of it, but i will be trying.
ill be getting up early to et it all sorted.

there is a cafe approximately 10-15 minuted north of whangarei, called "bundies" just past the old russle road on the left i think. i will be up there helping to run that soon, within two moths i hope, but it would be nice to meet a few northland people before i head up.

but if not i guess i will all see you soon enough. i will also be offering discounts at the cafe for all bikers wink wink. but you will all have to pick on a day when i'm working behind the till.
and shh don't tell anyone else.

what i am not liking it's got bar there. thank fully i will be living out the back. but i think i will be a alcoholic for a few weeks.

ten minutes away sweet. ill be looking forward to a few northland roads.
and don't show me the crap ones and hold all the good ones to your self.

Yes we were the sedate riders tootling along like the innocents we are. Was too nicer day not to get out there eh?
No worries re the ride,bit of a last min effort anyway mate but thinking of getting another Northern Run sorted in a couple of weeks.

Missed you all! ah well, went out to Mt. Wellington to watch a friend racing his bucket. On the way back home I carried on up to Puhoi and passed QKCHK and some other bike coming through Hatsfield Beach so turned around at the Puhoi turnoff and headed home assuming you had all buggered off.

So Duc-Gurl and I met up with 4 other bikes in Whangarei,a Falco,Monster,Sporty and Rocket3:shit: :love: which made 6 with ours,and chose to take the Nana route down as we were told that the road works on the Waipu to Mangawhai "track where not worth attempting<_< ...and "took our time" due to the obvious law presence and plenty of traffic. Road works everywhere!! I mean I've never seen such a freaking mess on SH1! Nevermind.
Met up with Maha Man and his Lady just before Welsford and continued on through to Puhoi battling extreme traffic :mellow:
Finally made it to Puhoi Pub and caught up with the Auckland Crew that were able to make it which was cool. Hadn't met GrahamBoy,SP Man and "BlackBuell" before and had a good catch up....yes Graham we can talk :shake:
After a feed and a couple of ales we headed north and shot out to Mangawai Pub for a blat and another taste test :ride: :drinkup: Mint ride and I may have even got up to the speed limit(er) at one stage :woohoo:
Great to meet y'all from down that way...good to see that there weren't any bad situations...got to see a Sporty do a mint wheelie even though it wasn't intentional :shit:
Looking forward to meeting y'all again and hopefully there'll be even more at the next ride :ride:

Had a great ride back down 16...barely a car to be seen.....
And we won't mention the burnout in the Wellsford gas station..........oops!
