In all fairness i reckon teh yami would have slipped him on the speed mate; It looked the faster of the 2 bikes to me:kick:

Still, 1st is 1st and this has the makings of an awesome '06 SBK

Default win for Honda. Bloody good race though. Wonder if Yukio and Nori are still good mates?

Very good races... thoroughly enjoyed both races. Down to the wire! Great action. Loved it!

thank fuck that suzuki came thru in the last race . i see the kawasaki is well down the order again this year , i heard the yamaha and kawasaki are always gonna suck at this level of racing cause their weak link is the frame rails going over the top of the motor limiting the size of the airbox

The start of WSK always tempts me to get Sky back. I found this site above for those other tightwads without Sky.
1.6cm gap in second race between 1st and 2nd. Poor bugger who had to stand at the finish line with a tap measure!
Yet again kawasaki fail to win races but all the Journos claim its the best race bike? (Masterbike) Must be some openings for new bike testers.

Devastated. 3 of the top 4 are Aussies and only half of the top 10.
What is going on!
Not good enough. :blip:

DONT CONFUSE STOCK BIKES WITH RACE BIKES , SOME MANUFACTURERS DESIGN A BIKE WITH THE KNOWLDEGE THAT CERTAIN THINGS WILL ONLY BE EXPLOITED ON THE RACE TRACK , NOTE MY AIRBOX STATEMENT , THE SMALLER AIRBOX IS PERFECT FOR THE ROAD BUT LEAVES LITTLE MARGIN FOR MODIFICATIONS

yeah thats exactly right. what i reckon that honda and now yamaha have done with their 600's is they built a full out race bike first. then made a few minor modifications (that can easily be reversed under supersport rules) that enabled the bikes to be sold as road bikes. Both in stock trim aren't anything spectactular, but once a new cam (among other things) is put in it turns it into a very fast weapon.

The comentators reckoned that the 600's put out 140+hp, I find that a little hard to believe, maybe 130 but who knows.
